The Amarillo Downtown Lions Club was formed in 1919 "in response to a growing demand for the betterment of society." It was the first Lions Club in the Texas Panhandle. The club takes pride in being one of the largest and most prestigious civic clubs in the beautiful city of Amarillo. |  |
